Lane Reduction at Caledonia Station May 23, 2020

What Work is Taking Place?

On Saturday May 23, crews at Caledonia will be pouring concrete to form a wall in the future station’s Main Entrance. During the pour, westbound Eglinton Ave W will be reduced to one (1) lane only between Blackthorne Ave and Gabian Way. Lane reductions will begin as early as 7:00am and last for approximately four (4) hours.

Hours of Work

  • Saturday, May 23, 2020

  • Lane reductions will begin at approximately 7:00am and last for approximately four (4) hours.

  • The contractor may not always work during permitted hours but may do so at its discretion.

  • Work may be rescheduled due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances.

  • This work may be longer or shorter than expected.

What to Expect

  • Concrete trucks will be entering and exiting the workzone.

  • Motorists can expect delays when travelling through the intersection.

  • One westbound lane on Eglinton Ave may be occupied while this work takes place.

  • There will be no impacts to pedestrian routes or TTC stops.

Travelling Smart during Construction

Travel delays are expected with the Crosstown construction. Please allow extra time for your journey. Traffic will be extra heavy at peak periods during the Crosstown construction. When possible, please travel during the off-peak period between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.
