Final Traffic Flip at Keelesdale Station
November 3 – 6, 2020
What Work is Taking Place?
Crews at Keelesdale Station will be reopening the road and implementing the final traffic configuration! As early as Tuesday November 3, crews will begin grinding, paving, and asphalting along Eglinton Ave W, Keele St, Trethewey Drive, and Yore Rd. Road reinstatement activities will involve rolling lane closures, from Tuesday November 3 until Friday November 6. One lane will remain open in each direction at all times. Upon completion of the road restoration, all pedestrian crosswalks will be re-opened, and all turns at the intersection will be reinstated!
What to Expect
Crews will be grinding, paving, and asphalting on Eglinton Ave W, Keele St, Trethewey Dr, and Yore Rd for road reinstatement of the intersection. Flag persons and a PDO will be onsite to help traffic through the area. Crews will maintain access to businesses and residences through the duration of this activity. Noise levels will remain the same as regular construction activity.
HOURS OF WORK
Crews continue to work as early as 6:00am - 11:00pm
Work may be rescheduled due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances
The contractor may not always work during the permitted hours but may do so at its discretion
This work may take longer or shorter than expected
TRAFFIC IMPACTS
There will be rolling lane closures while crews perform road reinstatement activities
One lane in each direction will be maintained
No impacts to TTC bus service
PEDESTRIAN IMPACTS
Pedestrians will be rerouted around the rolling lane closures
Access to businesses and properties will be maintained
OTHER IMPACTS
Noise from construction equipment such as trucks or excavators can be expected.
