Weston Road Infrastructure Improvements from Lawrence Avenue West to Humberview Crescent


Intersection Closure: May 13-16, 2021


We wish to inform you that the intersection of Church Street and Weston Road will be closed starting Thursday, May 13, 2021 at 9 a.m. to Sunday, May 16, 2021 at 5 a.m. for construction. The work will involve road construction and landscaping at the Weston Road and Church Street intersection. Please follow installed signs and detour routes details during the closure of Weston Road and Church Street intersection.


IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT COVID-19 AND CONSTRUCTION WORK IN TORONTO

During construction, the contractor is responsible for the Health & Safety on site under the Ontario Occupational Health and Safety Act and is expected to implement COVID-19 mitigation practices. For more information on the City's response to COVID-19 please visit toronto.ca/covid-19.


IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT ROAD CLOSURE

If you live on Church Street within the closure limit (Numbers 04 to 18 on both sides). Only local traffic will be allowed in that section of Church Street.

Please follow installed signs and detour routes details during the closure of Weston Road and Church Street intersection.

Please note one lane of traffic in each direction will be maintained on Weston Road at all times.


Work Hours

Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Saturday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Excavation activities and heavy breaking will occur between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.


TTC Service

59 Maple Leaf bus service will have a temporary route change due to construction.
