Dear Friends and Neighbours,

It has been a challenging past two weeks for many of us in York South - Weston. Our community has faced a spate of gun violence. I have been in contact with the Chief of Police to ensure that more resources are made available to protect our community. I also moved a motion at City Council to provide more supports for youth to address the root causes of violence and help to prevent it. I encourage you to attend the Weston Gang Prevention Town Hall.

Remembrance Day is this Monday and I encourage everyone to attend the Remembrance Day Service on November 11 at the York Civic Centre Cenotaph. Find out more details about this as well as other Remembrance Day Services in the Upcoming Events section.
