Dear Friends and Neighbours,

City Council resumed session after the summer break with a packed agenda last week. Council voted to add funding to help address youth violence, placed a ban on issuing new licenses for payday loan establishments, declared a climate emergency and adopted stronger targets for emissions reductions. A new Noise Bylaw also came into effect at the start of the month. Read more about this in the News section of this newsletter.
