Dear Friends and Neighbours,

It's official - students are going back to in-person learning at school on Tuesday, February 16. I know that virtual school from home has had its challenges for parents and I suspect that more than a few are happy to have kids return to the classroom.

I understand that there are some concerns about heading back to class during the pandemic, but it is important to note that Toronto Public Health is working very closely with the school boards to ensure a safe return and ongoing classes this year.

Toronto Public Health has issued a letter to parents with some guidelines for how to prepare for return to in-person learning, what to expect when at school, and some of the work that they are doing to keep staff, students, and parents safe. Please click here to view the letter.
