Dear Friends and Neighbours,
Yesterday, Premier Ford announced a State of Emergency and further public health restrictions. This includes limiting outdoor gatherings from 10 to 5 people and limiting office spaces to only essential staff. Shopping hours have also been limited to 7 AM - 8 PM, although this does not affect stores that sell food, pharmacies, gas stations, convenience stores, and restaurants offering takeout and delivery.
The Premier is also issuing a stay-at-home order, which comes into effect tonight at midnight. This order requires everyone to stay at home with the exception of essential trips such as going to the grocery store or pharmacy, accessing healthcare, or for essential work.
To find out all of the details about what is allowed and what is restricted, please read the Government of Ontario's news release here.
