Dear Friends and Neighbours,
Last night, I hosted a Community Strategy Session on the new meat processing facility in the Stockyards. I'd like to thank all of the residents and City Staff, including the City Manager, who joined the conversation as well as MP Ahmed Hussen. A recording of the meeting can be viewed here.
As discussed at last night's meeting, I suggested organizing a working group made up of local residents and business owners to meet regularly and work together on addressing the ongoing issues in the area. If you are interested in being a part of this working group, please send an email to my office at councillor_nunziata@toronto.ca with your name and address. More about this can be found below.
The Province of Ontario, in consultation with Toronto’s Medical Officer of Health, is considering moving Toronto from the Shutdown Zone of the provincial Stay-at-Home Order into the Grey Zone at 12:01 AM on Monday, March 8, 2021. Under the Grey Zone, a number of COVID-19 restrictions would be different. For a comparison chart of what is permitted in the Stay-At-Home order vs the Grey Zone, please click here.
Sincerely,
Frances
